Kara has been a contracted Mental Health Practitioner with Crow River Family Services since 2016. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Exercise Science from Simpson College in 2013. She earned her Master of Social Work Degree from St. Cloud State University in 2015. During that time she interned with Crow River Family Services for 2 years. After graduation, she attained a job at Washburn Center for Children as a Children’s Mental Health Case Manager and Therapist. She recently joined Crow River Family Services as a provider of in-home individual, family, and group skills through Children’s Therapeutic Supports and Services (CTSS) as well as outpatient therapy. She is passionate about DIRT GROUP and helping children grow through experiential learning. Certified DIRT GROUP Practitioner.
